The thumbnail made me think of a grey alien. After searching, I can't find any NCAA teams with a space alien as their mascot. Seems like something a D2 or D3 school would use as they like to go with the unusual. Especially the ones near Roswell or other UFO hot spots.
UCF once had a alien that mated with an orange for their mascot, which was unique, but switched to the generic (Golden) Knights.
