"Sounds Player" is the recommended "standalone", not sure if it needs 4chanX(T) or not. XT has build in sound support, just without the nifty player/playlist and other QoL features. You can use both at once as well, however, just disable the sound support in XT.

Excuse the dumb question, but is rubber banding a thing in this game whatsoever?
So far I've only once managed a truly decisive URA victory run, with Urara of all things, much to my surprise.
