Why do people go absolutely crazy for mass-produced Pepsi/Starbucks/Batman "dive larp" garbage, while an understated, classy as fuck rare vintage DJ in pristine condition is only like $5k? Do people just have absolutely no taste?

Also,the highest ever Rolex sold at auction is $17 million for some cheesy old actor's weirdo daytona. But the watch of a WW2 general, and fucking US president, which he wore daily for >35 years, doesn't even break $500k? What the hell is wrong with people?
