Numerology used to be called Arithmancy, it was only called Numerology in like the last hundred years or so. Pythagorean Arithmancy sounds more mystic, because of the -mancy suffix. You could also have Onomancy as the skill on an Esoterist, since knowing a daemon's name gives you power over them plus Onomancy originated as a belief of Pythagoreanism.
