It's only when the scenario becomes more comedic or tsun that Kana Ueda uses her prickly high-pitched bickering voice, which ended up becoming part of Rin's vocal performance more and more as time went on. It's like a gearboxr: when the situation gets funny, she's kicked into 6th and ends up sounding like some of her other roles.
