Shigaraki never cared that his mommy and daddy were neglectful and abusive, not only does he forget about his family after killing them but when he does remember and is confronted with their vestiges he feels nothing towards them and just decays them without any particular anger or malice other than recognizing they are long irrelevant to him. Because naturally he has far grander motivations and ambitions, though for some reason Death Battle chose not to delve into that and how his convictions make Deku look like a morally weak pushover little bitch (he is) in favor of focusing on the sad backstory because that would resonate with the viewers more or something.
