Not good enough to compete with the "must have" usuals but having what is effectively an expendable Guard Dog on every resupply is nice if you're into the idea. Its not a troll or wasted pick but its usefulness kind of comes and goes before you even realise its doing anything most of the time, but I like it for encouraging people to throw resupplies more aggressively or outside bases/nests.
I say all this despite bringing it in nearly every mission since it dropped, I love that little gun.
