revenge is personal, justice is universal. if a guy raped a woman and he'd be sentenced to, like, 10 years in prison for that and you said "that makes sense" that's your sense of justice but if a guy raped someone dear to you like your wife or your mother and you want to personally end that guy's life that's your sense of revenge taking over your sense of justice
