Hard to tell. I know zoomies love it, but Magic's playerbase is avg age 37 years old and I feel like most lennials were too old to give a shit about some generic hack and slash by the time the franchise gained steam. It'd sell better than Asscreed for sure but I doubt it would generic the same waves LOTR/FF did. Most post 2001 game franchises just won't have that mega appeal.

IMO there's only a few franchises which would be mega-hype tier:
>Harry Potter
>Dragon Ball
>DCU (if done all at once and not trickled in like Marvel)
>Mario or some other top Nintendo franchise like Zelda
>Skyrim/Elder Scrolls
