I'm not sure I'll ever understand why people defend AI art. It's ugly to look at, sovlless, able to be pumped out en masse to replace human; literal definition tier slop. And it's flooding the internet and will continue to do so more and more if we keep defending it.
Would rather see a shit piece of art still made by an actual human bean than something churned out by a machine. At least then I know someone had to sit down for 30 minutes and put pencil/mouse to paper/canvas/tablet and create actual shapes by themselves. And if it's offensively shit I can rest easy knowing they won't be able to proompt out 100 more pieces in 5 minutes.
