This is mental retardation. Steam does have DRM, yes, but its to the developer's discretion if they want to use it. Some just release their game as is on steam without any crap - meaning you can just launch the .exe without an problems, even copy the game, paste it onto a flash drive so you can play it on the go without any issue. It's all up to the developer if they want supplemental DRM implemented. Again, this entire movement isn't as complex or demanding as some retarded ass game dev shills are leading you to think. The motherfuckers just don't want to do the bare minimum work to facilitate their game to function past its end of life, because they want you to still stay subscribed to their services as big publisher see you as potential revenue to sell MTX, DLC, etc; or so past game doesn't compete with future product.
