So sad KCD 2 was a mixed bag. They added nice QoL features, improved minigames, improved combat (except removing master strikes for almost all weapons), improved graphics, and bigger maps.
But its all tied to a quest design that wants you to waste as much time as possible following people or doing busywork, a marvel-tier story (woah, Godwing and the avenge- I mean, sir Radzig company are back! Bohemians, assemble!) instead of the simple premise of the first game (an immature teenager becoming a man in the face of historical events), and mega-woke bits like the first black man in bohemia bragging about how his culture is better than yours, "woman strong" moments, henry and hans being sodomites, and a fully modeled synagogue when every church of the game cannot be entered unlike the first game.
Solid first half, it takes a nosedive upon reaching Kuttenberg. You hate to see it.
