Well, I have to say that this delirium tremens beer is definitely belgian, it has that extremely belgian beer taste. Not as flowery/citrussy/so on as the description of it lets on, but definitely a strong belgian light ale. A very basic taste, but not in a bad way

Pretty nice, but at the same time not as "drinkable" as some other light ales, so as an after-sauna beer this is not as thirst quenching as desired. But I can see how this was chosen as the best beer in the world way way back and is still being produced. It's special, but not outlandishly special as special beers usually are. It has some of that noticeable witbier flavor in it, almost to the point you'd think this is one, so if you do not like the belgian white wheat beer this won't be for you
