I’d call it unoriginal. The scene is obviously lifting from a bunch of anime scenes without developing them into the shows story in a natural way.
For example that eye wagging scene that’s obviously lifted from Naruto. It works there because it’s Madara using his bullshit eyes, a pre-established ability, to scan an entire army and react to their movements.
Taking that scene and just plopping it into your show because it looks cool just feels lazy and pandering.
