That's true, literally the only kind of people who benefit from such studies are those who rely too much on scientific proof and have no common sense. Nobody with a working pair of brain cells will use AI and not realize the consequences of using it wrong

We'll see it happen in real time soon anyway... The newer gens are already struggling with education, attention span, etc. due to technology. AI will be the nail in the coffin for them

It's making people lazier for sure. From my experience (I've used AI code editors for ~2 months) it did make me lazier than I already was, now I don't feel like touching code if I don't have an AI to assist me, but at the same time it motivated me to do things that I otherwise would've never tried, either because it's too daunting to do alone or not worth the effort
