Spider-Man is the Bugs Bunny of superheroes. there's plenty of content to watch, always has been. he's just the right age to be relatable to kids (school + aw-shucks I need a job) yet he's not childish to turn off adults.

I wonder how much of the popularity is due to the catchy theme song. Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can (you now have the song running in your head) look out, here comes the Spider-Man!
