Thanks man, I'd like something low fidelity like PS1/PSX style just because I feel it would take a bit less longer to make, something like pic rel (beta decay, not sure if this counts as PSX or whatever but it's what I'd like to go for roughly). Would it be alright if you posted some of your work before I do that here?
