Imagine a billionaire father has a son. This father decides to raise his kid poor in order to test him to see if he is worthy of inheriting his wealth. If this kid fails the test, the father will hire some men to kidnap him and torture him in a basement for the rest of his life. Would you call this father loving? Of course not, you'd call him a deranged maniac! A loving father would try to make their kid's life the best they possibly can from the start. In God's case, why even test us to begin with? Why couldn't we have been born into heaven?
