I've been peeking at the /sdg/ and /ldg/ threads, they are still very active and flying by .. perhaps "it's so over" for the closed source models, at least in terms of raw interest. Can't really blame 'em, the open source stuff has caught up in a lot of ways and of course no corporate nanny bullshit. Good enough for most people, honestly.
