I also just got the Extended Skill relic, and while the longer tornado is nice for trash mobs, it feels worse against medium bosses.
Normal tornado could at least "flinch" medium bosses like Crucible Knights but I feel this longer but weaker tornado can't do that; and that is an issue. But I just started using it so I'm unsure.

Correct, which is why I said Guardian is better with a good team than scrubs, cannot reviving dive 4 times in 2 minutes since your teammates keep going down, a better team that does not go down as much makes Guardian pay off much more.
