I basically never buy day 1 either, but it does really suck having the internet floodgates drain every smidgen of surprise and excitement for ""content"", memes, and whatnot. That is the single worst part of being patient.
Knowing even small details ahead of time can change your entire perspective on a game and homogenize your experience, and people wonder why games aren't as fun anymore (aside from other obvious things).
