I know he was always AFO's project to get back at all might and OFA users as a whole, but even back when 75% shiggy blanco first happened happened you got the impression he was finally gonna break free of his influence at that point to take center stage as the final villain.. But then nope he gets mind raped and is under AFO's thumb in the quirk mind palace until like the last few chapters where he breaks free AGAIN just to immediately die
