Maliss was never able to top serious events (200+ player regionals) despite being overpowered as fuck, it was always top 8, sharing the spotlight with ryzeal fiendsmith and tenpai, of all fucking decks. Konami obviously released them first and finally crippled snake-eye in MD just so they have a chance to shine.
