Reminds me of blackbirds.
It is a setting where the old gods have recently been murdered by humans with a ritual that transformed them into basically the godhand from berserk.
The last gods to die were the fates and upon their death strands of their tapestry of fate blessed seemingly random people with power to influence destiny who are now subject to a prophecy that no one has ever heard of.
The world is now in the hands of the god hand who will likely be opposed by the blackbirds(that are practically guts).
But no one knows what the end game is it could be that the fates are just petty and wish to use the blackbirds to destroy the god hand regardless of the consequences or it could be that the gods could be resurrected.
