I actually did that for that same exact reason in college. I would draw everyone's face in my class, then go to the upper floors to draw their poses and bodies. If there were any hot fat girls/boys I'd draw them up close by moving my finger drawing what I saw and then copied the same movement on my paper and adjusted it
