The combat is retarded it is basically you doing very counter logical things like farming demons.
The notion of farming demons is very counter intuitive especially for a game where you are a big strong slayer who is supposed to kill everything.
Remember big bad slayer not to destroy the demons in 1 hit and to farm them until they start flashing so you can glory kill them to be rewarded with HP.
Should this not be the opposite? Like Arena shooters rewarded you for killing enemies fast. Why is this not the same here?
The game has also counter logical things in it like the ice bomb and the flamethrower being used at the same time to farm HP and armor. This is counter logical because you think (in cartoon logic) that if you use a flame thrower on a frozen demon then the demon will un-freeze and be back to fighting you.
However despite all logic you needing to freeze and burn a demon helps you farm it faster.
The chainsaw also is a farming tool. Basically you need to NOT KILL the weak demons and to save them so you can chainsaw them to have unlimited ammunition.
It is unlimited because the chainsaw regenerates over time.
The feeling is a repetitive game that has very little value.
