I can't tell a difference for player characters because of those stupid boxes, but for civilians the difference is huge. In Epic they disappear at around the distance you drew in the map and the boxes holding them also disappear, with only the Nezu sign being visible. But with cinematic neither seem to disappear no matter the distance. I'm going to try a bot match to see how it affects player models and attack effects, but so far it seems like it's worth changing just to make scouting for civilians easier.
