Bro I've been using this software since Stormblood. You're getting mad at hypotheticals you yourself admit are incredibly unlikely to impossible because it requires one staffer with git authorization to push a malicious update. Keep waiting for it to happen and keep talking yourself out of QoL software you're too lazy to check the source for but too paranoid to not be concerned about
