Agriculture isn't profitable in T6, mostly due to soil erosion effects. Have some plantations to diversify your economy/food availablity, but you want raw resources: Logging/Timber/boats
>all available by World Wars
>employs uneducated/high school in factory (only a handfull, can import if needed)
>doesn't require power
>relatively low polluting, wont offend hippies in cold war as much as mining
>trees regrow as long as you keep enough space between camps/buy the replanting upgrades/stay on the default workmode, meaning your only limit is land
>can branch off into furniture, or use aluminum inputs as well
It's only complication is that it's a 3 step production line and you need water access to build the factory, but, if you get 3 of them with the half-cost Industiralization edict, they'll pay for themselves within 3 years
