Maya's racing outfit used to 1:1 be the jacket used in Top Gun, but due to controversy, the US, Japan, Taiwan, and NATO flag patches were removed from the back. I am not sure if it was to reduce similarities to the actual jacket, or if it was to pre-emptively prevent chinks from going insane over mentions of Taiwan.
