There's a conversation in chapter 4 where Noelle talks about how wierd Kris talks, like it's through a speaker. Susie says she didn't notice anything wierd and it sounds like Kris usually does. Later on, Kris talks for real, as just Kris, and Noelle gets moved to the border of tears because she's finally once again hearing "real" Kris with the voice she was used to as a kid, while Susie has no reaction.
Some anons have taken this to mean that Susie doesn't actually know the real Kris, but I'm kinda thinking it's the exact opposite. Scenes like the one posted in that pic with the "BERDLY?!" stuff (and other moments of implied talking) show that Kris does actually talk on their own regularly through the game. It's not super common, but Kris does chatter independent of the soul while hanging out with Ralsei and Susie.
What this makes me think is not that Susie doesn't know what real Kris talks like. It shows that she's just gotten used to hearing both versions, the real Kris voice and the "piloted" Kris voice. To Susie, Kris just sometimes likes to go all deadpan when solving a puzzle or having an important conversation, to Susie it's probably just Kris' "concentration voice" used during tense situations, while Kris sounds different when more relaxed.
But to Noelle, who knew Kris before the soul possessed them, this is a wierd, new voice she's not used to hearing. But that does carry another implication. That implication is that Kris hasn't genuinely talked to Noelle in a long, LONG fucking time. It's just been the soul forcing Kris to talk to her for so long that the first time in that time that she hears Kris' genuinely address her, she's moved, like she finally met back with a long gone friend. But doesn't that also mean that Kris resents Noelle superhard if they have refused to talk to her for so long? Does that mean it's actually canon that Kris is pissed off at Noelle?
