Toby has inadvertently hurt me with Asriel in Deltarune because the way he’s set up and talked about reminds me of a friend that was a few years older than me when I was a kid
He was really smart, religious, everyone loved him, and he was chill/cool to be around, never giving anyone shit, he even had blond hair and glasses (honestly I just assume Asriel wears glasses) and never failed at whatever he did.
The reason why it hurts is because I realized I had a crush on him when I was like 22-23. It took that long for me to figure it out. I haven’t seen him in maybe 8-10 years.
It kind of hurts my heart to think about.
