Ok I gave it a listen. Its the same slop they've been producing at full speed since The Great War. Lyrics are super clunky and poetically laughable, meanwhile the melodies all have been heard before. At this point I think its some weird loop of the audiance both being too dumb to care because muh based "history" metal, and Sabaton themselves being audiance captured to just produce more of the same shit. Its all been downhill since Carolus Rex, but especially since Great War. My two cents listening to both new songs (Lightning at the Gates and The Duelist) is that it supports my idea of Sabaton being the new Metallica. They're a good introduction to metal and play very nice to the ears if not acclimated to the genre. I also wouldn't place them as one of the best (note I do like both bands). Main hope is that they can try to improve musically instead of stagnating because Legends so far is "fine but unremarkable" to me.

If you want the equip and commentary associated with whatever path you pick (Jevilknife/tail), you gotta go back to Chapter 1 and do everything over again. Broadly, the game does keep track of whether or not you collected the shadow crystals.

There’s a cliff area in Castletown where you can get the weapon/crystal in a save without it so long as one of your other chapter saves has the data. But I’m not entirely sure how that works. Can anyone clarify or am I spouting bullshit?

So after I heard about Knight nerf, I tried to do mantleless. I defeated it once with a mantle, defeating it again shouldn't be too hard, right? Mantle only works for one party member, anyway.
Nope, Knight kicked my ass many times in a row. I can sometimes no-hit each individual attack (except for diagonal slices), but I can't do it consistently and mistakes quickly accumulate. I feel like me winning the first time was a fluke, so I'm not doing that again just to brag to Seam.
