I've played the game twice, and I'm pretty sure I got the same ending both times let LaCroix blow himself up and then the Anarchs come in to greet me. The only difference was that the first time I went at it alone and the second I had the Anarchs help.

The actual first ending I got was opening it like a moron, but that was a genuine misinput. I loaded a save from right after I killed the Sheriff.
