You can end up like snowbreak if you take it too far too, in that game you are the only person in the entire universe as far as the cast of playable characters is concerned. The chinese incel playerbase was so angry that male NPCs even existed in the game so they got completely removed (they had no dialogue or anything, they just provided buffs to your team but clearly that's NTR!). I think mihoyo just wants to play it way too safe to "not offend" anyone, but they still have to drop some hints so romance enjoyers have something to talk about.

It's a shame this was all we got out of those two for the most part, it feels like they want to do more yuri but are afraid of backlash nowadays.
