Probably nothing genuine milsurp sir. Sorry. Likely too expensive for a first timer. But Kentucky Rifles were used in the revolution and into the civil war. Those are still great rifles. They make them in cap too but flintlock is so much more fun. AND you aren’t at the mercy of the most instantly unavailable shooting supplies: percussion caps. It has taken me 4-5 years to see them come back on the shelves after the ammopocalypse of 2020.
