Yeah, I get that. I came to Dalle from SD, I just find or more accurately found it to just have that variety you mention that SD didnt have and I think even these latest ones dont have. The Veo clips I have seen are pretty wild... the ones where the "actors" are complaining about being prompts was really good, and the fake interviews with people about "prompt theory" as well.
