I'm just thinking over and over about Alan Wake: American Nightmare. Obviously I got it on sale, and it was fun for that price - 3 levels played in 3 different ways. Then there was some tacked-on arcade mode with achievements for kills, which I didn't git gud at. It's like, that's not the point of this single player game (more like DLC) at all.
It boggles the mind that they doubled down on this model. You WILL replay our 5 rehashed Control levels many times each, and you WILL like it. Well, only die-hard Control fans do, apparently?
