I did it a few years ago... but I played completely out of order. I'm pretty sure I farmed at least 10,000 gems. I still have my Excel spreadsheet of what I wanted to buy. I had barely enough gold to buy LW4 by playing through HoT and PoF so I bought season 4 and then farmed Dragonfall for weeks. I had no job then, but it was such a waste of time. I would have been better off just taking surveys online for $3 an hour. I think about how much extra gold I'd have if I didn't convert to buy these gems and want to cry.
