Agreed, Rebirth's pace is awful. Especially the beginning of Act 2 when you put the gang back together, you need to find a cure for Eugene and all that. The best parts of the game are the combat, soundtrack and short immersive texts you can read here and there pretty much everywhere about the environment, paintings on the wall, food in the stove, things found inside an inn's nightstand, just little flavor text that adds a lot. The story, and the character development is pretty... meh. Veigue is a complete nothingburger.
