They clearly want Arise to reach the 4 million sales to announce an update of, when 2/3 of it was sold for 10~15 dollars. Tourists moved on in less than 3 months after the release of the game, too. DLC bombed, merch bombed, game is more criticized than anything in online discussions.

Luminaria was supposed to be the next "big" Tales live service and, like Crestoria, probably wanted to stick with it for the next 10 years. It even got an english dub/localization.
I'm not surprised there's no new mainline game announced so far desu, both Crestoria and, especially, Luminaria, crashing and burning hard probably ruined their plans for some time.

The entire catalyst of the game's plot is literally Agarte wanting to be with Milhaust but she cant because Huma x Gajuma relationships are socially unacceptable. Hilda's is a mixed person and she has a huge inferiority complex over it.

Laphicet/Maotelus's blessing alone is enough to purificate Helions and avoid that most people turn into them. It's not a perfect solution, Rokurou never turned back for example, and seraphim turning intro dragons are still in the realm of possibility (probably) but perfect solutions almost never exist in most of these games (or real life), so I think it's fine how Zestiria ended.

Symphonia ended with the whole world depending on a mana tree bud that could wither and die anytime (like Martel herself said), in Abyss they stopped the core so Artes and the amount of fonons produced/threw in the atmosphere would diminish a lot, in Vesperia they threw away the basis of all technology when blastia became spirits...

That said, I wouldn't be against it. A modern/futuristic game in Zestiria/Berseria's setting where a seraphim protagonist learned how to turn back from a dragon could be interesting. Flame of purification and Armatus barely existed in Berseria's time, so they just killed Hellions and Seraphim were killed during Armatus...it could be interesting to show how they solved that problem.

That's not how it went down. Dhaos wanted a seed to fix Derris Kharlan after the war and saw that Aselia was in danger of burning their tree out thanks to the cannon. He larped as a concerned citizen and tried to get them to stop and was branded a criminal for it. Dhaos was mad and decided to play up the role because he wanted a seed by any means necessary.

The events of ToP happen because ultimately, people will just throw away useful lessons than their ancestors passed down and repeat the same mistakes. Lloyd and the others were not wrong to save humanity from a grief stricken Mithos.

This is one of the reasons I love Symphonia being a prequel to Phantasia. It was probably unintentional given they also had to write DotNW to fix Genis saying that the world will die without mana, which is not the case during Cless' present, showing they didn't exactly have Phantasia's story in mind at all times. But still, the fact remains that Mithos was right, Lloyd was wrong. The power of anime friendship didn't fix things, grudges and racism and preconceived notions didn't magically disappear.

I doubt those remasters are that costly. Vesperia sold 1.5 million but that's because it was locked out in the Xbox360 and, after that, in japanese PS3s.
150/200K in 6 months are decent numbers for a remaster of one game, not even a collection as you said, of a niche series.
The latest Trails games barely reached 6 digits, which is actually funny.
200/300K life time sales for remasters of games from Phantasia to Hearts R is an honest and decent goal, honestly. Also feasible.
I can emulate them just fine, and I do, but official localizations of better versions of those games woul be cool.

Pretty sure Hearts R sold less than 6 digits outside Japan, so anything would be an improvement.

It's a decent game with great combat, with more budget it would be an awesome one, it's kinda low budget being a portable title on Vita.
