NVIDIA has been prioritizing AI their business since the 2010s, and it paid off after Chat GPT changed the tech industry.
They are reducing GeForce chip production to make more profitable data center GPUs.
The non-halo tier GeForce chips are also getting smaller every generation (maximize profit per chip).

But people will still gravitate towards GeForce, AMD's not going to get even 30% of the PC gaming market share for a long time.
AMD's new features take mods to use on many games, and there's just a better perception of GeForce cards.
