well for one i grew up playing the originals and we love katamari is still my favorite game ever so theres definitely nostalgia involved but i personally didnt like how oversaturated the remasters look
of course thats purely subjective and im sure most people dont really care since it still has the same art direction the series is known for and it plays almost identical so i like the remasters just not as much as the originals
my biggest issue was the fucked up audio in we love katamari reroll some sounds are completely different like walking around in the meadow
