It's pretty much a full fledged katamari game
My only gripe is how levels max out at 8 minutes so there is no "10 cm to 1km" type level

I want an open world Katamari with timed objectives you come across as you explore/size up. You start the size of a thimble, have multiple starting points, and take whatever damn path you please through the bustling city streets of Osaka or Nagoya.

Yeah about half of them. Katamari Forever was basically a greatest hits compilation with almost all the levels taken from the first 3 games. I feel like they changed the difficulty in that version. The timers feel shorter and it's a lot harder to get good scores
