I wouldn't call it a "rage" quit, but the final boss of Elden Ring was incredibly boring and annoying, as a melee.
Chasing that giant flying slug around a giant arena to get 2 seconds to hit them was boring as fuck.
I was probably under leveled, because I did no damage, but I lost interest in the game and don't care about grinding that lame ass boss.
I've still played ER a bit, but I'll never finish it, because the last boss is boring.

Clearly your dad didn't get you, because you laughed. My dad did the same thing where he dragged me to thing he wanted to do, like golf for years until I told him I don't like golf. He only did stuff he wanted to do. There isn't a single hobby of mine that he got into, unless he himself was already into it, like cars and sports. My dad never ever went near a video game.
