I mean... I do want to see Van and other spriggans' character arc to finally start moving somewhere, but falcom keeps delaying it for the last game and what we got are 2 games filled with nothing but filler that barely moved whatever was already built-up in Kuro 1. It wouldn't be a problem if Calvard was 2 or 3 games at max, but right now i just don't really have high expectations for anything. Harem posting is the only thing we can more or less have fun talking about, because I have no idea where'd they go with Van's character arc. Whether he'll accept muh demons, becomes unhinged after Kai ending or something else I can't really tell, because there's literally zero build-up or foreshadowing in Kai. When the things finally started moving and getting interesting the game ended asking us to wait for Van's final episode. No wonder people start getting bored of spriggans, because frankly falcom just doesn't give them anything interesting to work with. They had a strong start with Kuro 1 and then it just fall apart because Takeiri is a shit writer and Kusano isn't directing anymore, leaving us with a fucking mess that progressively gets people more frustrated with the series.
