I was talking to a 22-year-old who said she couldn't connect with the incoming freshman because she couldn't understand what these 18-year-olds were saying. I'm 29 and felt like I could understand them but maybe it's just all my time online helping out here. I think "crashing out" is an inferior expression to 'meltie,' and cringe at people saying 'unalive' over 'an hero,' but I get it.
