Equinox has a lot of hypothetical power, but her play pattern is abysmal dogshit. One or two casting speed shards is mandatory because all of her casting animations are long and full body. for some godawful reason she has to choose between nuking and strong shield gating. Energy Transfer is mandatory if you want to use both forms, although a lot of people choose not to. Mend (night form 4) can heal allied operatives, and Maim (day form 4) can kill enemies at very high range through walls, so a hybrid build is very good for archon defense. That's kind of awkward though, because you're always activating, resetting, and reactivating a million channeled abilities. It's been a while so I don't remember why I made some of these decisions with the build, except that I only put in 1 forma for the second energy colour.
