>DC Studios’ co-chief James Gunn has said repeatedly that he will only greenlight projects that have a complete script. That is a pointed difference from Marvel Studios, which famously reworks movies throughout the filmmaking process. Feige took issue with both the comparison between Gunn’s mandate at DC and Marvel’s approach, and the idea that Marvel needed to radically alter how it makes its projects.
Actually it was more pointed inwardly at how DC had become before they took over and how things, were going to be different now as they will have better quality control and no fucking about with scripts now.
Look at later Zombie Snyderverse films like Aquaman 2 and The Flash. They do have the odd cool moment but overall you feel they were working on the script, rewriting on the fly even as they were shooting, giving a bloated end product with little of the original vision.
Look at the screenplay credits for Aquaman 2, there's about 20 people listed, and I highly doubt they were ever in the same room at the same timeworking on the script. No wonder it was messy in the end.
If Feige chooses to see that as a dig at him, that tells you a lot about his state of mind.
