Why do leftists always champion combating illiteracy as some great achievement of communism when in most countries with over 90% literacy rates adults don't read a single book in any given year? What is literacy good for if you don't read any books? Society would be better off with most people being illiterate, I learned to read when I was 3-years-old from TV commercials, if you had to be spoofed and taught to read your "thoughts" are probably worthless anyway
